Hi, I’m Jackie
I’m just like you. Someone grinding through life, trying to get things done, be able to smile, and still consider myself happy at the end of the day. I’ve been exactly where you are right now, wavering between going it alone or asking for help. And I’ve done both. I’ve gotten counseling when the struggle got too hard and going it alone when I was a little stronger.
I’ve been working with sexual assault survivors for the last twelve years. The resiliency of survivors never ceases to amaze and humble me. I’ve also been part of the BDSM community for just as long. Working with individuals, groups, couples, and poly groups, I’ve been around sex—in a lot of good and bad ways—for over a decade.
I have two master’s degrees: one in Psychology and one in Social Work. I work under my Social Work license because I find it offers more freedom when it comes to working with people.
Trauma counseling has had my heart since I started in this work. I want to help you live the best life you could possibly envision for yourself. And I’ll do that in whatever way makes the most sense for you. There is no cookie-cutter therapy here because, frankly, I don’t have time for that, and neither do you.
I provide counseling just like I serve my coffee: personalized and prepared with love. So if you’ve been searching for someone to talk to and you just haven’t met that perfect blend, then come see me and we’ll make a brew just for you.
